THE TOMATO SHOW 'S

BATHTUB RACES

You start with an old cast iron bathtub and attach wheels, push bar, and a steering mechanism.

Then fill it with water, tomato juice, and ice cubes (just to cool off the participants).

Find teams of three, two to push and one to sit and steer.

Teams are divided by sex and age with some teams being coed.

Once the driver is seated with a helmet, the stopwatch is set and the race begins.

SWOOSH!!!

Yes, the tubs are refilled after each heat if necessary.

Spectators watch and cheer as the teams make a U-turn in the street

and head back to the finish line.
